Start a project

Tell me what you're dreaming up and I'll make it! Build a quote right here in about a minute, hold your slot with a deposit, or call me and we'll figure it out together — I answer my own phone: 626-773-1051.

Characters, creatures, portraits and short animation — sculpted, hand-painted and lit so every render keeps the feel of a real brushstroke.

How it works

Three steps from “what if” to a finished piece with your name on it.

  1. Get a quote in a minute

Pick the piece, add the extras, choose your timing. The number updates as you go, and I'll confirm it with you in writing before anything starts — no surprises, no back-and-forth guessing.

  2. A deposit holds your slot

Half the estimate reserves your place in my queue. That first pass buys the reference work — thumbnails, a base sculpt or a sketch — so we agree on the shape before I go deep.

  3. Weekly check-ins, then it's yours

You get a render every week, so you can steer while the piece is still soft. Final files land in a shared folder: turntable renders, texture maps and the source on request.

Build your quote

Choose one piece, add anything extra, and pick your timing — everything updates as you go. If your project doesn't fit in these boxes, call me and I'll quote it by hand.

Good to know

How long does a piece take?

Concept sheets and gouache portraits usually land in one to two weeks. A character sculpt or a stylized 3D portrait takes two to four. A full-body creature with a turntable, or a short animation, runs four to eight. Priority timing moves you to the front of my queue; flexible timing lets me fit you into the gaps between larger projects and takes 10% off.

How does the deposit work?

Half up front holds your slot, and the balance is due when you approve the final render, before the files go out. The button in your quote takes the deposit by card in a secure checkout, so your card details never pass through my inbox. Prefer not to pay online? Say the word and I'll email an invoice instead. Cancel before the first reference pass and the deposit comes back to you; after that it covers the drawing and sculpting already done.

How many revisions do I get?

Two rounds at each milestone: once at the concept pass and once at the final pass. Small notes after delivery — a colour shift, a tighter crop, one more render angle — are on the house. Anything that reshapes the piece, like a new pose or a second character, gets quoted as a change, and I'll tell you the price before I start.

What files do I get, and how?

A shared folder link that doesn't expire: 4K turntable renders as PNGs, an MP4 for animation, the texture maps, and the source file — ZBrush, Maya or Blender — on request. You keep personal-use rights to the piece; commercial or game-release licensing is quoted separately, so tell me early where it's going to live.
